How do I commission a website?

How do I commision a Logo or design work?
Give us a call or drop us an email stating what you need. Once we have found out what you require, we can provide a quote for your new branding.
It might help to have prepared some answers to these common questions:
- Do you require a single logo, or a complete branding set – this can include various logotypes, branding usage guideline and printed materials.
- What words best describe your brand?
- Do you have any preferences, for colours, fonts etc?
- What logos appeal to you and why?

What is a Content Management system?
In basic terms a CMS (Content Management System) is a software application used to upload, edit, and manage content displayed on a website.
We specialise in two main CMS. Drupal and WordPress.
Both are incredibly popular, robust and well supported ‘Open source’ CMS systems. This means that any developer can work on them.
Some developers like to see you their own ‘proprietory’ CMS but this does mean that you will rely on them to fix any issues and support the site forever…. not ideal.
Can you supply hosting?
We always suggest that client sites we develop are hosted on one of our dedicated web servers in order for us to make regular backups, carry out routine maintenance and apply any updates that may be necessary. If you have an existing website, then we can take over from your existing hosting package. Google Analytics will be installed to provide feedback on numbers of site visitors.
It is normally for us to become the Technical Contact for the domain names used and we will arrange for annual renewals and any updates that are required. We also provide email facilities for any addresses that are needed on the chosen domain name. Hosting and support are covered with a single, low, annual charge.
